An Introduction to Fractional Calculus

These lectures intend to introduce fractional calculus to beginners in order to justify its use in several fields of applied science including the linear theory of relaxation in visco-elastic and dielectric media. The audience requires a basic knowledge of real and complex analysis along with Laplace and Fourier transforms.
